AGS Consultores was founded on October 16th of 2003, in Cartagena de Indias Colombia. Since its foundation, the organization has attended the needs of the construction sector by developing and managing projects

Created by Arturo Gomez Stevenson who foresaw the good moment coming up in the construction business in Cartagena due to the fact that in bigger cities like Bogotá and Medellín, this moment had begun and knowing this cycles he knew it would soon start in other capital cities.

Other factors such as the economic situation in the country was getting better, the interest rates were low and the incentives created by the government like AFC accounts and the new law of renting, made investing in real estate very attractive and AGS Consultores recognized this opportunity in the market and became the only company in Cartagena de Indias to offer management services in construction projects; being in charge of the total management of a project since its conception till the ending when the finished project is handed to the new owners.

It is the wish to participate as business leader that has made AGS Consultores part of the process of reinventing the construction business, now the projects are constructed with presales and the money is managed through fiduciary society to give more security to the buyer

The first project, Edificio Torre Andaluz, a strategic alliance was made with the architect Sergio Londoño Botero and the firm Asesorías y Construcciones S.A., this project was completely sold in only four months.

Actually, the company has a complete and qualified team, which has ten projects in its portfolio: Torre Andaluz: Finished; Condominio Mar Abierto: Finished in April of 2006; Edificio Cristina: Finished in May of 2006; Condominio Vista Bahía, first stage started construction in July of 2005; Edificio Omega 21: started construction in June of 2005 and will be finished by March of 2007; Edificio Aqua, started construction in August 2005 and will be finished by February of 2007; Edificio Akashi: started construction in April of 2006 and will be finished by November 2007; Edificio SKY II; Marina de Barú, Plazuela 21 and Punta Castillo are in pre sales.
